Colchester Kings RFC is East Anglia’s first gay and inclusive rugby team.

We wish to eliminate homophobia and transphobia in rugby by reducing barriers to joining in team sports. Our ambition leads us to support the LGBTQ+ community by promoting inclusion and participation so more people can take part in team sports. Colchester Kings joins over 30 other inclusive rugby teams in the UK and more than 100 worldwide.

We play in the UK Southern IGR League and also arrange fixtures against regional teams.

All levels of experience are welcome to join the team no matter your experience, age, size or sexuality.
