CRFC is sad to report that Vice President David Lowe has passed away.

David was a passionate 1st XV supporter both home and away for many years.

He bravely took it in turns to drive with Stuart Pritchard, who he also helped on Juniors Membership Day on Sundays at Mill Road for many seasons.

David organised the pre-match lunches back in the day and was a regular of the Swindle group of VPs who recall with affection his signature Christmas Dundee cake, moistened with copious rum.

He was also a great supporter of Colchester & East Essex Cricket Club, umpiring for many seasons.

He will be much missed.
