Please ensure you put on a Ball crew bib The match balls will be just inside the gate to the AGP pitch just before kick off Once all the players are on the pitch you can take up your positions working in teams of 2 or 3. We need 2 or 3 of you each side of the pitch and you must pay attention throughout the game. One of you, please run a match ball out to the centre of the pitch ready for kick off. Then you will have 1 or 2 spare match balls either side of the pitch. When the ball goes off the pitch one of you should run to where the assistant ref has marked the line out and place a ball on the line or hand it to the person throwing in. meanwhile the other ball boys must run and collect the ball that went off the pitch then return very quickly ready to repeat the process. Its important to always pay attention so there is no delay in having a ball ready for the throw in. When someone is doing a conversion following a try or penalty, then again one ball boy should place a ball on the centreline ready for the kick off and the other ball boy should be ready to collect the kicked ball and quickly return to the sideline ready for the next occurrence. Please do not pass the balls about on the sidelines as it is very off putting to the players & referee. Always pay attention to the play and use the opportunity to watch our first team and in particular the player in the position you would like to play in – it’s a really good opportunity to see how to do it. CRFC would like to apologise in advance for any colourful language you might hear, please do not repeat this at home. The players do not like swearing but sometimes it happens, and they are sorry if you hear it. Lastly a massive thank you from CRFC and the 1st XV team and coaches
