It’s not all doom & gloom in Lockdown 2.0 as the team that brought you ‘The Crexit Party’ and the short-lived ‘Andy’s Wads Super Salads’ now brings you ‘Stash In The Attic!’. Named loosely after the BBC show that ran for 10 years featuring David Dickinson and other Z-list celebs.

Over the next weeks, months and maybe even years we’re sifting though the Treasure Trove of documents, photos, trophies, kit and other stash handed back by families of club legends, grateful to get back their attics, lofts and garages. But mainly their attics, hence the name.

The bulk is from John Motum, Don Reid and Ron Hatch. All were Hon Cub Secretaries when the pre-digital role was pivotal, and they were responsible for all correspondence to and from the club. We though these priceless artefacts were lost, but they were Saved For The Nation by Club Guardian Super-Mac The Groundsman.

We’re now working through dozens of boxes of stuff to archive and save what matters, sell of the stuff that doesn’t. We’re using the Facebook mantra here: ‘Turn Your Crap Into Cash. And Back Again’ and will be auctioning surplus items as part of the Buy A Brick campaign.
