The Ravens’ home league match against Cottenham Renegades tomorrow has been cancelled after the Cambridgeshire side failed to raise a team.
But the 2s will still be in action tomorrow, thanks to some swift work by the fixture secretaries of Colchester and Southend. The Ravens will now play a hastily-arranged friendly against Southend 2s at Warners Bridge (kick-off 2.30).
While it’s disappointing that The Ravens have had a second league match cancelled (the game against Sudbury went the same way last month) the team has been awarded a second home walkover, the five points accrued meaning they stay comfortably top of their league.
So if you are heading for Westcliff rugby club to support the first team or Southend to watch the Ravens, all roads lead south tomorrow!
