Colchester Colts travelled to the annual Stowmarket Colts festival and emerged victorious after a very competitive day of play. Playing one-way 15 minute period rugby, Colchester started brightly and built momentum throughout the day, culminating in a terrific display in the final pool game against Beccles; Head Coach Mark Grigg commenting that the side's play in this game was of the best quality Colchester Colts had produced over the previous two years. The John Dixon cup was secured with another great team performance against Saffron Walden with the squad showing excellent team spirit, discipline and work ethic to secure a very much deserved triumph.
