Colchester roundheads were the last senior side to play at Mill Road on a cold Friday night under lights and the first senior side to play at our new ground.
Even though the result swung strongly in the favour of YM the Roundheads managed to cross the line 5 times and did have some good passages of play, but handling errors gave the possession away.
With their key dominating plays namely scrums and the catch and drive lineout missing they were always going to struggle.
25 players turned up which bodes well for the coming season with ages from 19 - 74 and 5 father and sons on the field. It could have been 6 sets.
