Colchester Colts overcome Bury Colts

Colchester fielded a large squad for this friendly fixture to ensure game time for as many players as possible whilst allowing the coaching team to look at players in different combinations throughout the match. Bury started the game the brighter and opened the scoring before the home side got into their stride and responded with three first half scores through Will Allen, Mikey Johnstone and Adam Siddle. Despite playing with the wind in the second half, Colchester were unable to convert territorial advantage into further points and the scoreboard remained untroubled for the remainder of the game.
