The end of another season for our 1XV who can now join our RAVENS, A XV, Cavaliers and Roundheads as they enjoy their well deserved summer holiday ready to come back fresh and raring to go. After a season of player losses due to injury we are looking forward to an exciting pre season where we welcome them back and prepare for the battle of promotion back to London National 3.

Our Youth section head to Ipswich for the Ipswich Road to Rio Sevens festival, starting at 10:00am Sunday 30th April. See below our full WEEKEND ROUND UP.

An excellent tournament ! Incredible team effort from Colchester who went on to WIN the David Ford Memorial Cup. Exceptional rugby played;

Ron Hatch Trophy Winner;

Many congratulations to Maldon RFC who won the Ron Hatch Trophy last Sunday after they beat Westcliff in the final here at Mill Road. Our boys came 4th in their group, but did not win a match. well done to all who played, a full report will follow on our website.

Needed: MINI CHAIRPERSON & MEMBERSHIP SECRETARY

We are approaching the end of the 2016-17 season and this is when we start the process of allocating roles and responsibilities for the new season.

One of the roles vitally important to the club is that of the MINI RUGBY CHAIRPERSON. Jon Smith has been temporarily holding this post over the course of the current season, but we would like a permanent Mini Chairperson installed ready for the new season.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, or you are already a volunteer but would like a new challenge, please let us know; we welcome new people and new ideas. If you’re interested, please get in touch…

CRFC DOUBLE CENTURION CLUB - IT'S MUCH MORE LIKELY TO BE YOU!

You might not know that CRFC runs its own lottery. And because it only has 200 members the odds on you winning are vastly higher than the one run by Dale Winton. Even if you don’t win the money goes to a cause we all love – Colchester Rugby Club.

DC membership costs just £5 per month and half of all money collected is returned in big monthly prizes. We’ve got a few vacant spaces and if you’re quick you can snap one up before the BIG annual draw of £1,500 taking place THIS SUNDAY at our Community Day. Yes, that’s £1,500!

Throwback Thursday

We throwback the Community Day last year!

Although it wasn't exactly a year ago the last Community Day took place but we look back as it is THIS SUNDAY!!

With stalls, games, BBQ's and a raffle with prizes donated from sponsors such as a BMW for a weekend & £100 in prize money!

The whole album of pictures from last year can be found here when we raised £7500+ for St Helena Hospice! We want to smash that this year so please come along!
