"To say that I am thrilled to be elected President of CRFC for the next three years is an understatement especially with the move to Northern Gateway Sports Hub - an exciting time which I look forward to sharing with you all.

I have been associated with the Club for a number of years since my husband Steve (Wally) played senior rugby here and my son Dan (1st XV number 7) has played at the Club since the age of 6. I joined the Committee seven years ago at the invitation of John Powell and worked alongside Bill Anslow as Asst Secretary, stepping into his boots four years ago. I have enjoyed every minute, despite some of the challenges, because I have worked alongside some amazing people who are so committed to the success of this great rugby family.

What of my ambitions for the Club? First I would like to promote girls’ and womens’ rugby at the Club - we are after all going to have one of the best facilities in the region. Secondly to get more people interested in how the Club operates - so watch out for your invitation to attend an Executive Meeting!

So looking forward to chatting to as many of you as possible over the next three years.
