The Annual Colchester Minis/Midis Festival took place on Sunday 22nd March 2015. This season it became even BIGGER featured 114 teams around 1,200 players from Under 7's to U12's.

Teams from Bury St Edmunds, Harwich, Ipswich, Ipswich YM, Hadleigh, Stowmarket, Bishops Stortford, Sudbury and Woodbridge all joined the hosts Colchester. This year the Festival was run in a new format with no finals purely a festival providing lots of rugby and fun all the players across the 28 pitches.

Festival manager Jack Hedley said: “It’s fantastic. We have  got 28 pitches on the go and lots of kids playing lots of  matches.
“We wanted mixed ability teams so it is inclusive, and every child gets to play a minimum of four games so it has that festival feel.”

There were around 4,000 spectators on a chilly but dry day applauding play by all teams. A great day was had by all.
