CANCELLED due to poor conditions
Sadly, the festival at Sudbury is cancelled and there will be NO training at Colchester either as the Club has a youth festival running.

Pirates were runners-up in Pool A and played Sudbury in the “Plate” final , which they won 4-3 ! So were 3rd overall, they received a trophy and medals.
There were plenty of great tags by all players in both teams and plenty of good teamwork. They should all be very proud of themselves. The pirates also got a good soaking in the hail storm !!

We took a single team to play Woodbridge and Lowestoft/Yarmouth. WIth the latter a no-show our team played two highly competitive matches against two good standard Woodbridge teams. Despite some tiredness creeping in against fresh legs in the second match, CRFC put in a terriffic effort with some excellent individual perfomrnaces. Results as follows:-

We have been advised by Bishop’s Stortford that todays fixtures have been cancelled due to the weather conditions.
After review of the state of home pitches the U10s matches are going ahead and with the sun very much out, decision has been taken to go ahead with training for U7s. Start time 10.15am and hope to see you all there.

Eton Manor – Home -Sunday 20 November 2011
Eton Manor brought a well organised team to CRFC where we put out 3 scratch teams of mixed ability so providing for plenty of competitive rugby for all concerned.
Matches were played in a great spirit with Eton Manor showing their class with good victories against each of our teams, however it was good experience for all our young players and our attacking development was shown with some excellent passing moves and trys through the day.
Whilst no player of the tournament was announced, special word for Oscar Lansbury who had been feeling unwell before and through the day but battled on to support his team and ended up returning to the field of play and running in one of the trys of the day. Well done all.
